In short: your charts are saved in your own browser, not on our servers. We don't use cookies, ads or tracking.
What happens when you make a chart
- Your name never leaves your device. We only use it to label the chart on your screen.
- Your date, time and town of birth are sent to our server to work out the chart. The server calculates it and sends it back. We don't save these details.
- When you type a town name, what you type is sent to our server to find matching towns. We use your approximate country, from your internet connection, to show towns in your country first.
Your day, matching and story cards
- Your day today: the town you choose is sent to our server to work out sunrise, Rahu kaal and the Panchang. Your own Moon is compared on your device. The town is remembered on your device.
- Matching: both people's birth dates, times and towns are sent to our server to work out their Moons, and are not stored. Please match someone only with their permission.
- Story cards are drawn on your phone. The picture never passes through our servers and shows no birth date, time or town.
What is saved on your device
Your last 10 charts are saved in your browser so you can open them again. You can remove them any time with Forget all on the chart form, or by clearing your browser's site data. Anyone who uses the same browser can see them.
Shared links
When you share a chart or a match, the link itself contains the names, birth dates, times and towns. Anyone who has the link can see that chart. This part of the link is not sent to our server when it is opened.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like all web hosts, it keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the service secure and working. These logs do not contain your birth details.
Cookies, ads and tracking
We set one cookie only if you sign in, to keep you signed in (for up to 90 days, or until you sign out). We don't show ads or use analytics or tracking tools. If this changes, we will update this page first.
Accounts
Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google or an email code, we store your email address, your first name (from Google, if you use it), your saved charts and your settings, so they appear on every device where you sign in. Email codes are sent through our email provider, Resend, and expire after 10 minutes; we keep only a scrambled version of the code. With Google we receive only your name, email and a Google account number; we never see your Google password.
You can delete your account at any time from the Me page. Your email, name, saved charts and settings are removed straight away. A record of credits used, with no name or email attached, may be kept for accounting.
Dhruv, our AI guide, and photo readings
When you ask Dhruv a question, we send your question, your first name and your calculated chart (not your full birth details) to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the answer. Answers are not stored unless you report one for review. For palm and face readings, a small copy of your photo is sent once to Anthropic and is never stored by us. We record only the cost of each answer, to manage our budget.
Payments
There are no payments yet. Before they start, we will update this page to explain what we store, why, for how long, and how to delete it.
Children
This service is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian.
